Help! Have you cleaned out your child's closet lately?
Since April, over 100 children in foster care have shopped for free clothing in Gracie's Closet. For the first time since we opened a year and a half ago, the clothing racks are getting a little sparse. Yikes!
I am telling you, there is nothing worse than standing there empty-handed with a bright-eyed child looking up at you excited about getting some nice clothes and you don't have any in his or her size. Especially a child who has already been disappointed and hurt in so many other ways.
So, I am putting a call out to our peeps, and I know you won't let me down! We need that pile of clothes (especially the summer clothes) that has been stacked up in the back of your child's closet for the last six months. We will make sure that stack of clothing reaches a child who is truly in need and that it will be put to good use. You can drop off clean, gently used clothing (no holes or stains) from baby sizes up through teen sizes at our office at 101 Devant St., Suite 502, between 9 am - 4 pm, M-F. (We are located behind the Waffle House at the intersection of Hwy. 54 and Gingercake Rd. in Fayetteville). Also, we are in need of toys in good condition and also baby gear (blankets, high chairs, swings, etc.) Feel free to call me if you have any questions at 770-461-7020. Thanks!
